MONICA URSINA JÄGER. STATES OF PLANETARY BEING

Alongside her exhibition at the Thunerhof, Monica Ursina Jäger is creating an immersive, large-scale installation at the Thun-Panorama that encompasses the entire extension. Through the use of murals, mirrors and films applied to the window surfaces, a multi-layered structure unfolds, interweaving real and imagined landscapes.
The work combines fragments from different eras to form an open visual world in which past, present and future overlap. The result is a poetic, kaleidoscopic scene that frames the landscape as a mutable, ambiguous structure.
