SOUVENIRS. AN INTERDISCIPLINARY SERIES OF EVENTS

A fictional living-room concert around 1806 or love stories in the Bernese Oberland 200 years ago. Marquard Wocher’s panoramic painting inspires countless stories. The richly detailed painting serves as the starting point for the Souvenirs event series. Once a month, the Thun Panorama transforms into a venue for events—whether readings, concerts, lectures, or performances. Mementos—souvenirs—from these occasions are presented alongside documentation of the events in the extension building.
